Itineraries
Cu Chi Tunnels
Known as the “iron triangle” during the Vietnam War, the Cu Chi Tunnels are an extensive network of underground passages that served as a military base for resistance against US forces. Once referred to as the “dead land” due to massive bombings, Cu Chi now stands as a symbol of resilience, blending historical landmarks with Vietnamese cultural heritage.
Mekong Delta
Often called “the rice bowl” of Vietnam, the Mekong Delta features vast expanses of rice fields and a unique riverine lifestyle. Here, you'll encounter floating houses and bustling markets along the river, offering a glimpse into the simple yet captivating beauty of the region, its natural surroundings, and the warm hospitality of its people.
Itinerary
7:30 AM: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel for a one-and-a-half-hour drive to Cu Chi Tunnels by minivan.
As you journey through peaceful rural landscapes dotted with rice paddies, ducks, and water buffalo, it’s hard to imagine the area's wartime destruction. Cu Chi, once a “Free Target Zone,” still bears scars of the past, serving as a testament to its fierce battleground history. For an immersive experience, you can even try firing an AK-47.
Afternoon: We depart Cu Chi and head to My Tho City, a two-hour drive away. En route, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Upon arriving in My Tho, a boat will take you through small canals, offering a serene escape from the city. Cruise under coconut trees to Ben Tre's coconut island. Here, we’ll disembark for a village walk, where you can enjoy tropical fruits, honey tea, honey wine, and traditional Vietnamese music performed by locals.
Next, visit a coconut candy shop to see how the candy is made and explore handicrafts from coconut trees. Walk through the village, photographing the diverse fruits, flowers, trees, and local houses, and enjoy the natural scenery.
5:00 - 5:30 PM: Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
7:00 PM: Tour concludes at your hotel.
